Kylie's New Album Set For November Release

Kylie Minogue has confirmed her new album is almost complete, and should be ready for release in November. The first single should be a great track called "2 Hearts" - touted by many to be a surefire number 1 hit.

Some UK newspapers are suggesting there could be as many as 40 songs in the running to be featured on the currently untitled album.

Tracks written by Scissor Sisters, Calvin Harris, Groove Armada and Madonna's producer Stuart Price are all being considered.

Meanwhile, "2 Hearts" has apparently been written by Kylie with underground electro-punk outfit Kish Mauve.

Kylie was reported to say: "We are now in the final stages of the album and are having to make some difficult but exciting decisions about which songs will stay and which ones will go.

"But I think you can safely say that '2 Hearts' will be staying. I started working on this album a year and a half ago and can't believe it is nearly finished."

Can't wait for it to officially hit the shops....

2 Nominations For Kylie At Vodafone Live Music Awards

The nominees for this year's Vodafone Live Music Awards were announced last night with Kylie being nominated for Best Show Production and Best Live Return.

The nominations were put together by a panel of music industry insiders and revealed by
Presenter Alex Zane. The ceremony takes place at Brompton Hall in London on September 19.

Vote here for your favorite live performance of the year with a chance to win the Ultimate Awards Experience or tickets for you and ten friends.

Kylie will be up against George Michael, Justin Timberlake and Muse in Best Show Production and The Police, Iggy Pop and Paul McCartney in Best Live return. Good luck!

Surprises in store for Christmas edition of Dr Who.

Sounds like there could be a few surprises in the Christmas edition of hit BBC show Dr Who.

The one-off special, starring Kylie Minogue will have a definite twist, said writer Russell T Davies.

“As you’ll see, there’s a whole new take – once again – on what a companion can be,” he said.

There are also rumours former companion, Rose Tyler, played by Billie Piper, could return to the show and that Joan Collins may play a baddie part.

Cowell Prefers Dannii To Kylie

Simon Cowell has revealed that he prefers his co-judge Dannii Minogue to her superstar sister Kylie and given the choice he would pick her "any day".

The X Factor main man was behind the decision to bring the Australian personality onto the existing team after she impressed them on show Australia's Got Talent.

Cowell, who is famed for being harsh on the contestants has been praising Dannii ahead of the start of this year's series, claiming her addition had brought a "wealth of experience" to the programme.

He said: "There's something about her that's very mysterious - I think she keeps some aspects of her character private. She's an incredibly sexy girl, but she doesn't realise how sexy she is."

Dannii has returned the compliments by describing Cowell as "the most charismatic man I have ever met".

The new series of the X Factor will start this Saturday on ITV1.

Kylie to join Dannii on X Factor?

Kylie Minogue is being lined up to make a guest appearance on The X Factor.

Younger sister Dannii, 35, has joined the show as the newest judge.

And Kylie, 39, is expected to make a one-off appearance to support her.

Bosses hope she'll take the role as mentor for one week.

'We very much hope to see Kylie on ITV this autumn,' an ITV spokesman tells The Sun.

Thanks to Kylie H&M July sales rise by 2%

STOCKHOLM, Sweden -

European clothing retailer Hennes & Mauritz AB said Wednesday that sales in July rose 14 percent in local currencies.

Same-store sales, or sales at stores open at least a year, rose 2 percent. The company didn't provide specific figures. H&M said sales figures for August will be published together with the nine-month report on Sept. 26.

The company had 1,422 stores on July 31 compared to 1,248 on July 31, 2006.

H&M shares dipped 1 percent to 391 Swedish kronor ($56.73) in Stockholm.

Kylie's 10th studio album is rumored to be titled "Kylie X". The album has been in the works for well over a year and Kylie is still, as reported in the media, looking for "A killer comeback single" to rival Can't Get You Out Of My Head. Artists and producers for this new project include Calvin Harris, Groove Armada, Boy George and the Scissor Sisters.
