Bronze Kylie Statue Unveiled In Melbourne's Docklands
Kylie Minogue has been immortalized in bronze in a statue unveiled in Melbourne's Docklands - her home town.
The figure took sculptor Peter Corlett three months to fashion and was posed for by a body double whose measurements are almost identical to Kylie's.
Corlett said he was inspired by Minogue's Showgirl tour to create a statue representing the "ultimate Kylie".
The statue is part of a Variety Entertainers of the Century display.

The Kylie Show - Sensitized
Another great performance from The Kylie Show featuring Kylie riding a bucking bronco for her ITV1 TV Special. Sensitized is arguably the best track from her new album "X" and is hotly tipped to be released as a future single. Her backing singers, the Crazy Horse Girls, were flown in from Paris to perform on a specially-built cabaret set as part of a "truly lavish and spectacular show".

Kylie Minogue - Wow!
And when I say Wow, I mean "Wow" a track off Kylie's new album, "X". Here's a great live performance from The Kylie Show - a one-off television special which aired on ITV1 on 10 November, 2007. The show celebrated Kylie's 20 years in pop music and acted as promotion for the release of her tenth studio album, X.

World Exclusive Kylie "X" Album Available On Nokia Music Store

Kylie Minogue's much anticipated new album, "X", will be exclusively available to download from the newly launched Nokia Music Store on 21st November. The release marks the first time ever a Kylie album will be available digitally prior to general release*.
Kylie’s album sits alongside over two million tracks from major artists, independent labels and up-and-coming UK acts in the Nokia Music Store, which is currently open in the UK only.
Tracks are typically delivered in high quality 192Kbps audio in Windows Media Audio (WMA) format.
* General Release: November 24th in Australia, November 26th in the UK & USA
I just tried to access the UK Store, but received the following message:
"Supported systems are currently Microsoft Windows XP or Vista.
Supported browsers on the above systems are currently Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and above."
Looks like a great idea, but Nokia need to expand the store to other countries and make it available to a wider range of users.

Kylie Doesn't Cancel World Tour On Doctor's Orders
Apologies to regular Everything Kylie readers. A couple of days ago I reported that Kylie had been forced to cancel her World Tour on doctor's orders.
According to the Daily Mail, where the story originated, the statement was a false one:
We (The London Daily Mail) reported yesterday that Kylie Minogue had cancelled a world tour on the orders of her doctor. In fact, Ms Minogue had not announced any tour dates, nor had she been advised that a tour would be detrimental to her health. We now accept that Ms Minogue was wrongly quoted. We are happy to set the record straight.

New Minogue Album - This Time It's Dannii!
As Kylie digitally releases her new single, 2 Hearts, her younger sister Dannii releases an album predominately featuring dance tracks.
The new album by X Factor judge Dannii is a collection of remixes and rarities - 10 new tracks packaged with six previous No.1 club hits. Initial reviews aren't great, but that's not going to stop die hard Dannii fans from splashing out £7.99 on iTunes!

Kylie Cancels World Tour On Doctor's Orders
KYLIE has been forced to cancel her planned world tour next year, after being told by doctors that it could seriously impair her recovery from breast cancer.
Only a few weeks ago, her stylist and great friend William Baker had talked excitedly about their plans for the tour.
He said then, "I am heading back into the studio with Kylie in February to start training for the tour we want to do in June. It's going to be fabulous."
But Minogue has told the UK's Daily Mail that she has been forced to shelve these plans following discussions with her doctors.
It was reported that the star was so keen to go on tour that she was prepared to ignore her doctors' advice, but has more recently decided to change her plans, saying, "Every woman has to face up to new priorities, near the top is health.
"I take my health very seriously but not obsessively. Everything is about pacing yourself."

Kylie Minogue Now On Facebook
Kylie's been active on MySpace for a few weeks, and now she's landed on Facebook! Kylie is limiting her number of friends to 3500, so you'd better hurry if you want to be one of the chosen few.
Simply head on over to Facebook, create an account if you're not already a member, search for "Kylie Minogue" and add her as a friend from the list of members that are displayed.
Don't worry if you're not one of the first 3500 to add Kylie, as there will still be a group with all the latest news and gossip, open to everyone to join in!
